Q. What about confidentiality?
A. Candid prides itself on offering and maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion at all times. We never give out surnames or addresses. Your contact details are only given to genuine Candid Members and we do not exchange mailing lists with other companies.
Q. How do I join?
A. Joining Candid is easy but;
You must be over 18 years of age and you must be a resident of the UK.
To apply for membership you simply phone in to the Candid office on 01372 456075 and leave your name and address.We will then send you our standard information pack free of charge. There is no obligation to take it any further if you choose not to. If you are interested in joining you will be expected to complete a simple application form and return it to us with your payment.
Q. What does it cost to become a member?
A. Membership costs £38 for a 3 month (4 issue) subscription.
Q. Do you offer any discounts?
A. Yes, if you return your application form within 14 days you qualify for a £10 discount.
Q. What do I get as a member?
A. As soon as you join we will send you the Candid Directory which gives details of all our current advertisers. Profiles of members appear together with their contact details. During the course of your membership you will receive a further 3 issues sent at monthly intervals.
Q. How do I make contact?
A. You will be able to make contact by phone, e-mail or letter depending on the preference of the advertiser. Around 90% of our members include a phone number with their advertisement (usually a mobile). This enables other members to make direct contact with them. Around 5% include their e-mail address and a further 5% prefer contact by letter.
Q. How do I advertise?
A. Membership entitles you to a 30 word advertisement in the Candid Directory which you include when you complete the application form.
Q. Do I have to advertise?
A. No. This option is entirely discretionary.
Q. Are there any additional costs?
A. There is a small additional charge if you wish to include more than 30 words in your advertisement.
Q. What if my circumstances change?
A. We can make any necessary changes to your advertisement the same day. Similarly, if you choose to cancel your membership we can take immediate action.
Q. How do I renew my membership?
A. When you receive your fourth and final issue of the Candid Directory you will receive a renewal form enabling you to order further issues at any time at a reduced rate.
